Quality engineers identify anomalies and improve procedures. They are responsible, in particular, for establishing action plans to prevent or handle malfunctions. Quality engineers ensure the quality of a company’s products and services. They also coordinate and monitor the progress of all quality activities and controls, particularly preventive and corrective actions, and create anomaly and nonconformity documents. Quality engineers are also responsible for reporting the data collected.
